Friday 11 November

Today in warm up with Years 2 actors, MT’s and Levels 2 we did “Have it” but in british accent and we did the subject game. Today on 11 November we did 2 minutes of silence for the Remember Day for the British soldiers who died on the First World War.

Plugging the Cultural Deficent :

Somme / Arras / Gallipoli / Verdun

  • Batle of Somme – 1 July to 18 November 1916 World War I, British and French against German. In Somme River and Pas-de-Calais, France. Was one of the bloodiest battles in history.
  • Battle of Arras – 9 April to 16 May 1917 World War I, British against German. In Arras, France
  • Gallipoli Campaign – 25 April 1915 and 9 January 1916 World War I, British, French and Russia empires. They attack Turkey and wanted to capturing Dardanelles. In Turkey
  • Battle of Verdun – 21 February to 18 December 1916 First World War, German against France. In Verdun-sur-Meuse, France

Nowadays this battles are important because they marked the longest battles and bloody. And the all respect for the British soldiers and many others.

On Helena’s lesson we did continue to parctice the dance that we are going to perform on 29 November. And today we did dance in the theatre to know the space and I had some strugles to do some moves in one part of the dance by the end because on the last scene everyone had to get up and walk over Max (who’s dead) and the order from my right should be me, Ami and Ebony…but it doesn’t work so we change it from my left we had Ebony, Ami, Robyn and I. we did just like that because it’s was hard for me to move from the place that me and Robyn were to the circle and I always get block and I can came in into the circle on time till the music stops. This time Ebony was in the lesson and we could explain to her the rest of the dance but Jamie-Leigh still sick. Erica’s lesson we did the scenes 2, 3, 4 and 5 and we was really good but we have to learn our lines to get to know what we are saying and what we are doing to understand  and perform much better. I still have to find Prospero but i getting it. By the end we did the Mannequin Challenge in our character from The Tempest.
